Assist 300 conflict affected IDPs families in Afghanistan
The project, aims to provide assistance, to 300 conflict affected internally displaced persons (IDPs) families in Herat and its surrounding areas in Afghanistan. The duration of the project is one year, during which various components will be implemented to identify and support the vulnerable households.
The first component of the project involves identifying the 300 conflicted-affected IDP households that have settled in Herat and its surrounding areas. This identification process will be conducted in coordination with the Department of Refugees and Repatriation (DoRR), Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), and the elders of protracted IDP households. Through collaboration and data collection, the project will ensure that the most deserving and vulnerable families are identified for assistance.
Once the identification process is complete, the project will move on to the distribution of food assistance. The 300 identified conflicted-affected IDP households will receive food commodities to meet their immediate nutritional needs. This distribution will be coordinated with DoRR, ANDMA, and the elders of protracted IDP households to ensure efficient and equitable delivery of assistance.
Throughout the one-year duration of the project, continuous coordination and collaboration with relevant authorities and community representatives will be maintained to ensure the effective implementation of the assistance program. Regular assessments and monitoring will be conducted to evaluate the impact of the project and make any necessary adjustments to meet the evolving needs of the IDP families.

It recognizes the importance of addressing the basic needs of vulnerable families and aims to provide them with a measure of stability and support during their displacement. Through collaboration with government agencies and community leaders, the project aims to ensure the efficient and transparent delivery of assistance, reaching those most in need.
