Assist 3500 drought affected families in Herat, Afghanistan
The project aims, to provide assistance, to 3500 drought affected families in Herat & its surrounding areas in Afghanistan. The duration of the project is one year, during which various components will be implemented to identify and support the vulnerable households.
The first component of the project involves identifying the 3500 drought affected families that have settled in Herat, & its surrounding areas. This identification process will be conducted in coordination with the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) and the elders of the drought-affected households. Through collaboration and data collection, the project will ensure that the most deserving and vulnerable families affected by the drought are identified for assistance.
Once the identification process is complete, the project will move on to the distribution of food assistance. The 3,500 identified drought-affected households will receive food commodities to meet their immediate nutritional needs.
